‘Spirit Halloween’ Movie With Christopher Lloyd Opening This Year

With toy-associated films all the rage (just look the Enjoy-Doh motion picture from Emily V. Gordon and Jon M. Chu, Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film and Paramount’s “Transformers” franchise), Halloween fans have been left under-served — until finally now.

Spirit Halloween, the legendary costume and prop retail outlet with 1,425 places across North The usa, has teamed with Strike Back Studios, Hideout Images and Individual Crowd for a characteristic-size loved ones movie termed, you guessed it, “Spirit Halloween.”

Billed as a relatives/young ones experience film, the challenge stars “Back to the Future’s” Christopher Lloyd and “She’s All That” star Rachael Leigh Cook, as very well as some new faces.

“When a new Spirit Halloween retail outlet seems in a deserted strip shopping mall, a few middle-school friends who consider they’ve outgrown trick-or-dealing with make a dare to invest the night time locked inside the retail store Halloween night,” reads the logline. “But they soon find out that the retail store is haunted by an offended evil spirit who has possessed the creepy animatronic characters. Filming on “Spirit Halloween” has now wrapped, with the creation aiming for an October 2022 release.

The output, which has secured a marketing partnership with Spirit Halloween, is a collaboration involving Hideout Images (“Old Henry”) and WarnerMedia Latin America’s initial film label Certain Group in association with Movie Manner Amusement (“As They Built Us”).

Strike Again Studios and Hideout Photographs also lately collaborated on “Asleep in My Palm,” starring Tim Blake Nelson, which wrapped in February.
