Sandra Bullock on why she’s taking a break from acting

Academy Award-winner Sandra Bullock talks about getting a split from acting, staying a mom, and her newest movie, “The Dropped Town,” in a huge-ranging interview with Tracy Smith for “CBS Sunday Morning,” to be broadcast March 20 on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. 

In the comedy “The Missing City,” Bullock portrays a kidnapped romance writer who, along with her book’s cover model (Channing Tatum), fights her way back to civilization. 

In the course of the filming of the project in the Dominican Republic, Bullock reported she reflected on the actuality that it would be her last movie for the foreseeable long run.

Sandra Bullock: “I can be innovative, I can be element of a neighborhood. But right now, perform in front of the camera needs to just take a pause.”

Tracy Smith: “For how extensive?”

Bullock: “I will not know. I will not know. Until finally I will not experience like I really feel now when I am in entrance of a digicam.”

Smith: “Which is?”

Bullock: “I want to be at household. I am not doing everyone any favors who’s investing in a venture if I’m expressing, ‘I just want to be at house.’ ‘Cause I was always operating, I was often functioning to the next point. I just want to be current and liable for just one matter.”

Smith: “So, you understood capturing this motion picture …”

Bullock: “Yeah.”

Smith: “This is gonna be the very last 1 …”

Bullock: “Yeah.”

Smith: “…for a even though?”

Bullock: “Yeah. And I never know what ‘a while’ is. I really don’t know what that is.”
