Joe Rogan Says ‘The Hangover’ is ‘The Last Great Comedy Movie’

Joe Rogan enjoys a hot just take.

In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Practical experience, the podcast host was speaking about how “wokeness” has ruined modern-day comedy movies and that The Hangover is “the very last good comedy film,” for every Mediaite.

“Is there a woke comedy movie? Is there even an attempt?” Rogan explained to his guest, comedian Tom Papa, “Is there even an endeavor at a politically appropriate comedy movie? They just stopped producing comedy movies.”

Rogan ongoing, “What was the final truly superior comedy movie?” Rogan questioned. “It applied to be you would be capable to—There’s One thing About Mary, Kingpin. You just snap ’em off. You realized what they were being. It is like wokeness killed the comedy motion picture in a lot of techniques.”

On the other hand, Rogan did acknowledge that there has been one particular singular comedy film that falls in line with The Hangover’s humor, which is Seth Rogen’s 2013 movie This is the Stop

Back in February, it was documented that Rogan’s deal with Spotify was really worth double than it was previously assumed. His licensing deal with the streaming platform was documented as $100 million, but now it would seem that it was worthy of double. Some sources say it was even really worth about $200 million.

He touched on the offer in an job interview with The New York Moments in May 2020, expressing he was unpleasant talking about the greenback amount of money in the midst of a pandemic. “It feels gross,” Rogan claimed at the time. “Especially correct now, when men and women simply cannot function.”
