Joe Rogan Calls ‘The Hangover’ the ‘Last Great Comedy Movie,’ Blames ‘Wokeness’

Joe Rogan enjoys a sizzling choose.

In a modern episode of The Joe Rogan Encounter, the podcast host was speaking about how “wokeness” has ruined modern-day comedy movies and that The Hangover is “the last great comedy motion picture,” for every Mediaite.

“Is there a woke comedy film? Is there even an endeavor?” Rogan claimed to his guest, comedian Tom Papa, “Is there even an attempt at a politically proper comedy movie? They just stopped earning comedy movies.”

Rogan ongoing, “What was the last actually good comedy film?” Rogan questioned. “It made use of to be you would be capable to—There is A thing About Mary, Kingpin. You just snap ’em off. You understood what they have been. It is like wokeness killed the comedy film in a good deal of ways.”

However, Rogan did acknowledge that there has been a single singular comedy movie that falls in line with The Hangover’s humor, which is Seth Rogen’s 2013 film This is the Conclude.

Back again in February, it was noted that Rogan’s deal with Spotify was worthy of double than it was previously thought. His licensing deal with the streaming system was described as $100 million, but now it appears to be that it was value double. Some sources say it was even value around $200 million.

He touched on the offer in an interview with The New York Times in May possibly 2020, stating he was not comfortable discussing the greenback total in the midst of a pandemic. “It feels gross,” Rogan said at the time. “Especially proper now, when persons can not operate.”
